Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical support for desktop, network, and server environments.
  • Manage integrated 911 solutions across Ambulance Communication Centres.
  • Provide technical expertise for Paramedic and Ambulance Communication Officer projects.
  • Support emergency continuity of operations (COOP) plans for 911 dispatch centers.
  • Ensure 24/7 support for ambulance dispatching equipment compliance.
  • Oversee setup and management of desktops, servers, and ACC solutions.
  • Capture business requirements and update rules for technology projects.

Qualifications:

  • Technical diploma/degree in electronics technology.
  • Strong expertise in voice, data, radio, and satellite telecommunications.
  • Proficiency in network configurations, server systems, and security protocols.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience in critical 24/7 environments, especially in emergency services projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $65.00-$82.00 per hour

Education:

  • DCS / DEC (preferred)

Experience:

  • System Analyst: 8 years (required)
  • 24x7 critical environments and operations: 3 years (required)
  • Public Safety Radio Network: 2 years (required)
  • emergency health services eg. ambulance communications.: 2 years (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5V 1R5
