On call and HART transports are a requirement of this position. This position is to provide coverage until December 2026, or return of incumbent. As a Respiratory Therapist At EKRH, You Will Provide respiratory care for clients with acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions Perform airway management, ventilator setup and monitoring, and advanced therapeutic interventions Assist with diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood sampling Participate in High Acuity Response Team (HART) transports, code blue responses, trauma cases, and high-risk deliveries Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in ICU rounds and care planning Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and professional practice development What We Offer Competitive pay with recognition for your previous experience Coverage for professional registration fees through Health Sciences Association Student loan forgiveness eligibility for qualifying locations under the B.C. program Generous vacation starting at up to 4 weeks Employer-paid health & dental benefits for you and your dependents Defined benefit pension plan with employer-matched contributions Paid education and professional development opportunities Consistent schedule and stability in a unionized environment Mentorship programs designed for new graduates and internationally educated professionals.
