Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Inventory Control Analyst on a temporary basis (up to 7 months) on our Shared Services team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based out of our Home Office in Saskatoon, SK. Join our dynamic Supply Chain team as an Inventory Control Analyst In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. You’ll collaborate with vendors and internal teams to manage inventory for both Foodservice and retail, support promotional initiatives, and help drive operational excellence. What you’ll do: Manage inventory replenishment for Foodservice and retail warehouse items, including special orders and opportunity buys. Perform buying functions within Blue Yonder for assigned vendors, monitor forecasts, and maintain inventory turnover targets. Ensure product quality and minimize shrink by monitoring date-sensitive items, resolving system mismatches, and coordinating timely transfers. Maintain vendor and item data in systems (Blue Yonder, CICS, Merch OPS), set up new items, and handle EDI and cross-dock issues. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on promotions, procurement projects, and inventory balancing; provide backup support to Supply Chain Managers. Deliver exceptional customer service internally and externally, participate in vendor meetings, and assist with price updates and promotional planning. Who you’ll work with: The Team: You will work closely with the supply chain team and will report into the Senior Manager, Replenishment. This team strives to cultivate a culture that is collaborative, process driven, and customer focused. The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Consumer Products business unit including the TGP Food Service team. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and: Have 1-3 years of relevant experience. Experience in buying would be an asset. Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration or Commerce. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). Are familiar with Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Outlook. Working toward Project Management Association of Canada (PMAC) will be considered an asset.
