Inside Sales Representative – Electrical Products
MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our electrical products client to find a first-class Inside Sales Representative – Electrical Products to join their team in a full-time, office-based role. The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide technical sales support and customer service by recommending electrical products, preparing estimates, processing orders, and building strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person to recommend appropriate electrical products, equipment, and accessories.
- Prepare detailed pricing quotations, estimates, and sales proposals, following up on open opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Process customer purchase orders accurately and liaise with suppliers to verify product specifications, availability, and lead times.
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and outside sales teams to monitor order status, manage delivery schedules, and resolve account updates.
- Handle order post-sale support, including tracking shipments, managing product returns or warranty requests, and offering alternative product solutions when needed.
You should have the following in your background to apply:
- Proven inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience within the electrical products industry.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical equipment, components, accessories, and technical specifications.
- Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to quickly learn proprietary sales and inventory management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional internal teams.
