Generations Fitness & Aquatics Centre is hiring An exciting opportunity to become a team member of our amazing 24 hour gymGenerations is a community-focused fitness and wellness centre dedicated to providing high-quality programs that promote health, wellness, and inclusion. We are currently seeking a passionate and certified Aqua Fit Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and effective water-based fitness classes for a diverse group of participants.The Certified Aquafit instructor will be required to teach classes throughout the week, with both weekday and weekend availability preferred. Hours are part-time, with some flexibility to set your own schedule.Key Responsibilities:Plan and lead Aqua Fit classes for a variety of fitness levels and age groups.Provide clear instruction and demonstrate proper techniques to ensure participant safety.Monitor class participants and respond to any issues or emergencies that may arise.Set up and clean up any required equipment before and after classes.Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of water fitness trends and safety practices.Qualifications:Certification in Aqua Fitness (e.g., WaterART Fitness).Current CPR/First Aid certification.Previous experience leading group fitness or aqua fitness classes preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about health and fitness.We are looking to fill the position with someone that is friendly, reliable, motivated, and can also lead a fun, high-energy class for our members We have a great group of members that attend and enjoy their daily classes.Salary: $20-$25 per hour based on experienceJob Type: Part-time/Flexible hoursPart-time hours: 5-10 per weekSchedule: Day shift, Evening shift, Monday to Friday, Weekend availabilityWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
