We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of NDE/Quality Specialist. The role of NDE/Quality Specialist reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to): Maintain and improve NDE/Quality System elements to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements Develop, implement and support NDE processes (FPI and DR) Assess and approve internal specifications and documentation Support and monitor calibration, metrology and inspection activities related to including NDE Develop and deliver instructional material on NDE and quality related subject material Support the continued maintenance and implementation of NDE elements of ISO 9001, AS9100, Transport Canada Authorized Maintenance Organization Quality Management Systems, and Nadcap programs Participate in the design review and engineering change notice process Support Nonconforming Material, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action processes engaging multi-disciplined teams Perform internal audits and support external audits Perform measurement systems and statistical analyses related to NDE Continually seek and develop quality process and continuous improvement opportunities Key Skill Requirements: Ability to understand, interpret and communicate NDE and Quality technical specifications Advanced capabilities with data collection, analysis and reporting Excellent organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Aptitude to positively interact with all organization functional areas and levels to achieve collaboration with quality activities Key Experience/Education: University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering / Quality Assurance Field is required Demonstrated background and qualification in NDE (FPI, DR) Minimum 5 years experience in an ISO 9001 / AS9100 manufacturing or processing environment or AMO is required Proficient with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required Demonstrated experience with Nadcap and Transport Canada programs is an asset Application Information: This role is full-time.
