OverviewJoin Servus Credit Union - Canada’s Largest Credit Union. We are looking for a full-time Universal Financial Associate in our Scenic Drive branch. Reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager, the Universal Financial Associate supports members with banking needs, prepares documents for meetings, maintains proactive contact and follow-up with members, handles walk-in discussions, and performs various administrative and branch support activities. You will also process daily banking transactions and recommend products and services to help members feel good about their money.What You’ll Be DoingProactively gather and document all information required for the Financial Advisor to have a robust conversation.Review personal accounts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance; identify recommendations to improve the member’s financial fitness.Open and review new accounts, following up with members per service guidelines.Prepare and enter loan application information.Support branch activities to grow new memberships and strengthen relationships with existing members.Differentiate between credit union and competitor products and services; present advice and solutions to improve the member’s financial situation.Accurately process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, money orders, credit card advances and foreign/domestic exchange; cheque cashing.What You BringAt least 1 year of retail banking or sales experience in addition to your high school diploma.Although Not Required, The Following Education/Certificates Are Valuable AssetsPost-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)IFIC certificationWhy Servus?Benefits: Working for Servus includes health and wellness benefits, vacation and retirement savings programs, and other important benefits such as:Competitive compensation including performance-based incentive pay and profit shareTraining & Development OpportunitiesCareer Advancement PotentialFlexible work optionsMeaningful work towards individual and corporate goalsOpportunities to get involved and give back through an employee volunteer programAt Servus, our employees are also members with all the benefits of being a member of the credit union, including profit sharing, voting for the board of directors, and the financial services we provide, plus a few additional perks.What Happens Next?We thank all applicants for their interest.
