Role accountabilitiesPerform hydrological and hydraulic modelling, including data collection, design review, model setup and calibration, and system assessmentSupport the development of stormwater servicing plansDevelop rainwater source control LID concepts and assist in LID designsProvide technical analysis in support of Civil engineering design associated with municipal or rural stormwater systems and stormwater management facilitiesProvide quality control and peer review on colleagues' projectsCoordinate CAD design technologists to prepare designs ensuring quality procedures are followedCoordinate with project managers on site design, budget, scheduling, proposals and related technical documentsDevelop and maintain positive client, subconsultant, and approving authority relationships Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldRegistration as a professional engineer (P.Eng.) or EIT with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)Minimum of 3 years of experience in assessment, modeling, and detailed design of stormwater systems; experience in general municipal engineering, transportation, or community development projectsExperience in infrastructure master planning, flood management, or river modelling is an assetExcellent organizational, communication, and technical writing skillsStrong software skills: PCSWMM, XPSWMM, HEC-RAS, SWMM HYMO, Civil 3D, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
