We’ve been recognized as a top employer for young people, a top family friendly employer, and a top employer in the GTAWe are looking for a qualified Anesthesia Assistant to join our team As an Anesthesia Assistant you will participate in the care of pediatric patients undergoing general, regional or procedural sedation under the direct supervision and/or immediate availability of the Anesthesiologist. Within a collaborative practice agreement, you provide hands‑on anesthesia and procedural sedation care for pediatric patients across the pre‑, intra‑ and immediate postoperative periods, practicing with a high degree of clinical autonomy alongside anesthesiologists. As an Anesthesia Assistant, you are authorized to practice within your respective scope of practice as a regulated health professional (RN or RT) and may perform duties beyond your scope of practice under medical directives. You provide high‑quality anesthesia and procedural sedation care for pediatric patients in the OR, Sedation Unit, and satellite locations such as Diagnostic Imaging and Hematology/Oncology procedure areas, collaborating closely with anesthesiologists.
