Retail Store Manager – Airdrie, Alberta, Canada Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the store, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs, and holding the team accountable for store conditions and results. Deliver sales, profit, and other key performance indicators in conjunction with annual performance objectives; manage the store team to achieve their role KPIs. Execute customer brand promises and company policies. Implement and lead shrink and safety programs to meet goals. Use company tools to set, prioritize, and communicate goals, while providing overall management to team members and customers. Staff the store with qualified team members: hire, train, observe, coach, and manage performance, including disciplinary process when necessary. Identify & develop talent for advancement; utilize leadership competencies for continuous self‑development. Interact with others in an accepting, respectful manner, promoting the organization’s vision and values and serving as a role model. Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD). Maintain operational understanding of all store departments; cross‑train and ensure managers are cross‑trained in custom framing selling and production. Qualifications Retail management and leadership experience. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store. Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly. Some lifting of heavy items and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Work Environment Public retail store setting supervising team members and serving customers; all public areas are climate‑controlled with some stock rooms that may not be. Occasional outdoor work; frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
