CNC Set‑Up Operator VTR Feeder Solutions Inc. is hiring a CNC Set‑Up Operator for our manufacturing team in Grimsby, ON. The role is full‑time, permanent and requires previous experience in a similar CNC Mill Setup or Operator role and a strong attention to detail. Salary Base pay range: CA$22.00/hr – CA$26.00/hr. Shift Schedule Monday to Friday, 8.5‑hour day shift; employee must be on‑site by 8:00 am. Half‑hour unpaid lunch from 12:30 pm‑1:00 pm. Overtime paid after 40 hours. Overview Report to Manufacturing Team Lead. Responsible for setup and operation of a CNC Mill with Fanuc control. Accurately interpret blueprints and other technical drawings. Set up parts and tools, measure parts, and perform inspections and quality checks on completed parts. Communicate with Team Lead and Manufacturing Admin to ensure proper quantity of tooling and materials. General cleaning of workspace and machine maintenance. Ensure use of proper PPE and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines, as well as VTR’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Perform other related duties as required. What You’ll Bring Minimum 2‑3 years of experience operating a CNC Mill. Fanuc control experience preferred. General machining knowledge as an asset. Comfortable standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs. Experience using measuring equipment including gauges, micrometres, verniers, etc. Proven high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Mechanically inclined and strong problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‑functional team. Team‑oriented and demonstrated ability to collaborate with others. Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices in a manufacturing environment. Own tools and toolbox. Benefits & Additional Information Minimum 40 hours per week. DPSP matching program.
