Product Software Engineer - Python + Airflow + DS Join Capgemini as a Product Software Engineer focused on Python, Airflow, and Data Science. About the Job You’re Considering As a Software Engineer, you will work on one of the world's largest social media platforms, handling petabytes of data daily. You will contribute as part of an R&D self‑organized team in a challenging, innovative environment. Your Role Obtain tasks from the project lead or team lead, prepare functional and design specifications, and approve them with all stakeholders. Ensure that assigned area/areas are delivered on time and meet quality objectives. Design, implement, and maintain pipelines that produce business‑critical data reliably and efficiently using cloud technology. Report area readiness and quality, raising red flags in crisis situations beyond your AOR. Resolve crisis situations within your AOR. Your Skills and Experience University degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years of solid Python coding experience as a Software Engineer, focusing on scalability and performance. Proven ability to design and optimize distributed systems and data workflows using Airflow for orchestration. Experience building and deploying cloud‑native solutions on AWS with reliability and security. Proficiency in GitHub for version control and CI/CD best practices. Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns. Preferred: Experience with Big Data tools and technologies such as Apache Spark.
