*This job opening is for a short-term contract (fixed-term) of 6 months to cover a leave of absence.*Job DescriptionReporting to the Online Programming Team Leader, you will participate in the implementation and development of the architecture of online projects. Among other things, you will have the mandate to participate in the design, implementation, and integration of services for various online functionalities such as monetization, game progression, matchmaking, etc.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, integrate, and test services allowing games to access online functionalities.Work closely with gameplay and network programmers to ensure proper functioning with the other components of the game.Offer technical advice and provide game designers with means to realize their vision and ambition.Maintain technological monitoring of best practices and new technologies for online services and the web in order to offer the best online experience.Experiences & QualificationsA degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.Experience developing online components in a game.Knowledge of object-oriented programming, .NET Core and Docker.Experience with back-end services in a DevOps environment (or other relevant experience).Knowledge of Git and Gitlab.Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation; an asset.Knowledge of Python or Golang; an asset.Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases; an asset.ABOUT QUANTIC DREAMQuantic Dream is a video game studio founded in 1997 by David Cage, based in Paris, France, and Montreal, Canada.
