Job Description Tax/Accounting Associate – Co-op/Internship (Jan 2026 – Apr 2026) Prime Tax Solutions – Ajax, ON (On-Site Only)$17.60/hr – Internship / Co-op About the Role Prime Tax Solutions (voted Best Tax Services in Ajax 2025) is seeking co‑op students for the 2026 tax season. This role is ideal for students who want real, hands‑on experience in personal tax preparation, corporate tax filing, and bookkeeping in a high‑volume professional environment. This is a 100% on‑site role at our Ajax office, with early morning and late evening shifts during peak tax season. Key Responsibilities Prepare Personal Tax (T1) returns under supervision Assist with Corporate Tax (T2) preparation Perform bookkeeping and data entry Organize and verify client documentation Communicate with clients regarding missing information Support high‑volume operations during peak season Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism Required Qualifications Current college/university student in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related program Eligible for co‑op work or off‑campus work authorization Able to commute to Ajax daily (on‑site only) Able to work early mornings or late evenings during busy tax weeks Strong attention to detail and communication skills Mandatory Experience Requirement (No Exceptions) Minimum two years of real work experience in a similar tax or accounting role, gained through: Previous co‑op placements Internships Part‑time tax season roles Bookkeeping roles in an accounting or tax firm Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
