Job OverviewDesjardins is hiring a Personal Finance Advisor for our Saint‑Anselme location in Quebec, Canada. This full‑time, entry‑level role focuses on finance and sales, responsible for building lasting relationships with individual members and businesses.ResponsibilitiesAdvise members and clients on financial strategies and help them identify expected results.Manage business relationships by assessing member/client satisfaction, service quality and identifying areas for improvement.Stay up‑to‑date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices.Participate in outreach activities and represent Desjardins in the community.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field.Minimum one year of relevant experience (other combinations may be considered).Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers.French language proficiency.Knowledge of current financial, economic, political and legislative events.Experience with Desjardins products, services and distribution networks.Debt management experience.Understanding of compliance legislation governing financial product distribution.Familiarity with the philosophy and fundamentals of financial cooperative services.Knowledge of Desjardins business processes, service standards and related regulations.Techniques for evaluating and monitoring individual financing applications.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive results through recommendations of investments, loans and insurance products.BenefitsCompetitive salary with annual bonus.4 weeks of flexible vacation following the first year.Defined benefit pension plan.Group insurance with telemedicine access.Reimbursement for health‑and‑wellness expenses and telework equipment.Other benefits based on eligibility criteria.Equity, Diversity & InclusionAt Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
