We pair engineering and manufacturing capabilities to deliver tailored solutions for our clients.Learn more about OCL here: www.oclgroup.caThe RoleWe are currently seeking motivated 3rd Year CWB Apprentice Welders to join our team at our fabrication shop in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Day and Night Shifts available.This role is ideal for apprentices who are progressing through their training, hold active CWB qualifications, and are looking to build their welding skills in a supportive, safety-focused environment. You will work alongside experienced welders and supervisors to perform high-quality manual welds and support fabrication tasks.Please note: This role is strictly for By-hand CWB Welders.Compensation/BenefitsCompetitive wage with excellent hourly compensationOvertime after 8 hours per day.6% vacation pay and 4% stat holiday pay on all regular hours.Benefits after 90 days of employment (50% employer paid) - vision, health, dental, paramedicals, travelLong term disability, AD&D, life insurance, dependent life insuranceWeekly payJob Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerform hand welding using FCAW and MCAW processes to CWB standardsAssist in welding, fabrication and preparation tasks as directedRead and follow basic drawings and instructionsComplete welds that meet CWB and project quality requirementsMaintain welding equipment and a clean, safe working environmentExperience/Education/QualificationsRegistered 3rd Year Welding ApprenticeValid CWB qualificationsCurrent FCAW and MCAW ticketsAbility to pass a weld test if requiredPrevious experience in fabrication shop and/or field work is an assetMust be reliable, punctual and safety focusedCSTS 2020 Fundamentals (including WHMIS 2015)May be required to complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test for certain sitesMust have or be willing to obtain necessary site-specific safety tickets and orientationsClass 5 driver’s license with reliable transportationMust be eligible to work in CanadaOCL Group Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
