Come share your passion with us The Role We Are Offering You Joining the Strategic Projects and Operations Excellence team, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic projects and complex initiatives that deliver measurable value. You will lead cross-functional projects by applying world-class project management methodologies and practices. You thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrate strong prioritization and stress management skills, and work collaboratively to drive impactful results. Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business goals. Lead project execution across all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Evaluate project risks, manage project issues, develop mitigation plans, and identify and maximise return from opportunities. Ensure compliance with CAE’s policies, standards, and governance frameworks. Resolve project work/scheduling problems by reprioritising activities. Review project performance against milestones and budget. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring transparent and timely communication. Present project status, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively to senior leadership. Facilitate collaborative decision-making and conflict resolution across diverse teams. Our Ideal Candidate Has A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience managing increasingly complex projects, including at least 2 years in a project management role. PMI certification (e.g., PMP) is a strong asset. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira). Ability to collaborate across various organizational levels and support leadership teams. A results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving project objectives. Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability. Autonomy in task execution and decision-making within established frameworks. Flexibility and agility in managing priorities, adapting to evolving needs and project urgency. Bilingualism (French and English) is required. Availability to travel occasionally to various CAE sites. Position Type Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
