Job Responsibilities .

Conduct in-house analytical testing using a variety of wet chemistry and instrument test methods. Instrumentation to be used includes chromatography (HPLC, IC and GC), spectroscopy (LC-MS, GC-MS, FTIR, NIR, UV-VIS), particle size analysis, microscopy, pH / conductivity meters.
Support the characterization of drug impurities and degradation products as well as other physical and chemical properties.
Perform dissolution testing and analyses.
Assist in the development of novel analytical / instrumentation methods. Validate the accuracy and precision of developed analytical / instrumentation methods.
Write and/or review analytical documents, such as method development and validation reports, batch release reports and CoAs, stability reports, and other technical documents in support of regulatory filings.
Present clear and concise written reports containing results and conclusions after interpreting data
Maintain laboratory instrumentation and manage inventory of supplies
Maintain accurate records of analytical activities.
Assist with various laboratory duties related to testing and monitoring.
Facilitate chemical waste removal, ordering supplies and purchasing equipment.
Have good written and verbal communication skills; read and understand verbal and written policies, procedures, safety and environmental requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Not required but nice to have:
Cell culture experience
Animal health monitoring
ELISA
Knowledge of ICH, USP, EP, ISO, GLP, and GMP requirements
Knowledge of Thermo Fisher HPLC and LCMS

Job Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in chemistry or a related field is required.
Minimum of two years of experience working in an analytical role is preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Considerable knowledge of laboratory processes and regulations.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Expert knowledge of laboratory apparatus and equipment and a variety of laboratory techniques
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Works independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated
Ability to perform work with accuracy and in accordance with established procedures
Attention to safety requirements in performance of duties
Effectively communicates with supervisors and co-workers
Organized and able to perform duties in a timely manner
