Advisor, Securities Join to apply for the Advisor, Securities role at Desjardins. As a securities advisor, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain relationships with members and clients. You sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies. Your focus areas include discretionary management, mutual funds, exchange‑traded funds, and structured products. You drive results by reviewing complex information requests and promoting and selling products aligned with your unit’s objectives. You balance sales objectives, prudent risk management, profitability, and member/client satisfaction. Responsibilities Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention. Set goals and advise members and clients on the best solutions and strategies. Analyze and meet complex client needs, handle requests and follow up as needed. Collect, compile and analyze data; prepare reports and recommendations. Oversee portfolios; assess customer satisfaction and service quality; follow up and make improvements as needed.
