Daiken North America LTD – Electrician – Huntsville, ON Daiken North America LTD is seeking a dependable, hard‑working Electrician for our Huntsville facility, formerly Panolam Industries LTD. You will be part of the Huntsville team responsible for installing, constructing and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment and systems within an industrial setting. Beautiful, tranquil Huntsville location Live, play, and work all in one place Enjoy cottage country away from city challenges Culture that values growth, development and internal promotion Competitive compensation starting at $35.92 CD, 12‑hour rotational shifts PPE and tool allowances Extended health care plan including medical, dental and vision benefits Registered pension plan with company match Responsibilities Work within Ontario Electrical Code, government regulations, Panolam’s Current Practices and Health & Safety Policies Participate in continuous improvement projects Work and troubleshoot PLCs (A‑B), AC/DC drives Maintain accurate records and write/print legibly Perform repairs on equipment and identify work‑order priorities for shutdowns Exhibit strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Use computer skills for documentation Demonstrate self‑motivation and team orientation Specific Targets Complete work within budgetary guidelines Maintain safety control Track machine availability and efficiencies Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic system faults Carry out electrical maintenance procedures Tune equipment and ensure adequate controls and safety measures are functional Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience Industrial Electrician Certification 309A Electrical engineering technologist with 309A is an asset Good knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting Strong communication skills in English (verbal & written) Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Ability to work at heights using ladders and scissor lifts Good mechanical troubleshooting skills Self‑motivated team player prepared to work shifts Ability to tolerate noise and temperature changes Employment Details Seniority level: Not applicable Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Building Materials Equal Opportunity Employer Daiken North America LTD is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer.
