We are seeking an intermediate to senior-level structural geologist to be part of our team of experts. The successful candidate will lead projects in Canada and worldwide in the mining and infrastructure sectors.

The position requires a willingness to travel for extended periods in remote locations of the world. Technical proficiency is required in the realm of structural geology and a broad understanding of the mineral exploration and mine operation industries is required. Experience in the fields of rock mechanics, geotechnical engineering, GIS and geospatial technology are assets. 

We offer a competitive compensation package that is comparable to industry standard and negotiable based on level of experience. It is our desire to provide a balanced lifestyle and offer flexibility on location of residence.

Location

• The location of this position is flexible within Canada with preference for Fredericton, Halifax or Kelowna.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in the field of structural geology or M.Sc. with relevant experience. 

• 5-15 years of industry experience with a focus on structural geology

• Proficient in Leapfrog Geo or similar 3D modelling software 

• Willingness to travel frequently

• Geological field mapping experience

• Spanish or French second language is an asset

• Valid driver’s license

• Registration or immediate eligibility for Canadian P.Geo status.
