About the Role The ideal candidate is passionate about transforming data into clear, actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to design, build, and optimize dynamic dashboards, reports, and data models. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. Develop and optimize complex DAX measures and calculated columns. Build efficient data models using Power Query, Power BI Desktop, and dataflows. Connect to various data sources (SQL, Fabric, Excel, SharePoint, Azure, cloud platforms, etc.). Gather and understand business requirements, converting them into reporting solutions. Ensure quality, accuracy, and governance of data models and BI assets. Troubleshoot data issues, calculation errors, and performance bottlenecks. Implement row‑level security, data refresh automation, and best practices in BI architecture. Work collaboratively with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and business stakeholders. Prepare documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge‑transfer training. Stay current with new features, AI capabilities, and Power BI roadmap advancements. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Math, or related field. 7+ years of hands‑on Power BI experience (consulting environment preferred). Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Service, Dataflows, DAX, Power Query (M). Data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling). Experience with SQL and relational databases. Working knowledge of Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) an asset. Experience with Python or R for analytics is a plus. Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices. Soft Skills Excellent problem‑solving and analytical thinking. Ability to communicate insights clearly to clients and stakeholders. Strong time and project management skills. Curious, innovative, and passionate about data storytelling. Collaborative and proactive working style. Fully bilingual French & English.
