Operations and Regulatory Compliance Specialist Sr Fidelity Canada seeks an experienced Operations and Regulatory Compliance Specialist Sr to join its Fidelity Oversight Division. This full‑time role offers a flexible hybrid schedule. Business Overview The Compliance Department establishes and maintains compliance policies for Fidelity Investments Canada ULC, reporting to various committees and senior management on material compliance matters and regulatory developments. Role Overview Reporting to the Director, Operations and Regulatory Compliance, the Operations and Regulatory Compliance Specialist Senior is responsible for: Completing regular monitoring and reporting on operational compliance matters. Maintaining and updating compliance policies. Preparing and presenting materials for executive committees. Providing ongoing support on regulatory matters to various business units. Supporting the review and approval of sales communications. How You’ll Make An Impact Act as subject matter expert for reviewing and approving advertisements and sales communications produced by Fidelity Canada for retail and institutional businesses in accordance with NI 81‑102 Part 15. Review social media content created by Fidelity Investments. Continuous improvement of various Compliance programs. Represent Compliance, establish relationships, and implement accountability on cross‑divisional projects. Keep up to date with regulatory changes and support policy updates. Support the business by creating, updating and implementing training and communications. Conduct and document compliance monitoring results. Develop new and update existing compliance policies. Prepare materials for committees, training programs and regulatory updates. Provide compliance support on cross‑divisional projects. What We’re Looking For Minimum 4 years of mutual fund manager or dealer experience, most recently in a Compliance or related role. Knowledge of sales communication requirements in NI 81‑102. Post‑secondary degree or equivalent experience. Experience in mutual fund operations is an asset. Bilingualism in English and French is an asset. Enrollment in Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Canadian Investment Funds Course is an asset. The Expertise you Bring Knowledge of mutual fund regulations (NI 31‑103, NI 81‑102, NI 81‑105, NI 45‑106, PIPEDA, FATCA/CRS, Estates Law). Excellent verbal and written communication, research, and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to various management levels. Strong understanding of mutual fund compliance and operations. Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks. Commitment to excellence.
