Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Practitioner based in Victoria, BC. The role involves conducting hearing evaluations, assessing and diagnosing hearing loss, and recommending appropriate interventions, such as hearing aids or therapeutic treatments. Additional responsibilities include programming and fitting hearing aids, providing counseling and education for patients and their families, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal hearing care solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in performing hearing evaluations, diagnostics, and interpreting audiograms. Experience with programming, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids or other auditory devices. Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills for working with patients and their families effectively. Knowledge of auditory disorders, rehabilitation techniques, and patient care best practices. Current licensure as an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Practitioner in British Columbia (or eligibility to obtain licensure). A detail-oriented mindset and commitment to maintaining patient records accurately. Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team and dedication to patient-focused care. Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology or relevant certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. #J-18808-Ljbffr
