Our singular focus is to help security experts, clinical professionals and high‑tech developers solve real‑world problems and issues. PFC Flexible Circuits Ltd, an OSIE Company, is seeking a permanent full‑time Buyer who will work closely with the quoting, purchasing, and sales teams to source, order, and expedite receipt of components needed to support production of products at our factories. The Buyer will be responsible for sales order processing and delivery follow‑up, negotiate pricing on contracts, resolve pricing and product issues, expedite, cancel/defer, and ensure purchase orders are aligned to support program and production managers. The Buyer will also evaluate suppliers based on capability, performance, and delivery tied into ISO requirements and work with them to improve cost, quality, delivery, and lead time. Shift 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (current shift hours) Responsibilities Source components from domestic and overseas vendors. Consult with manufacturing and program management to understand demand forecasts in order to schedule materials and review pricing. Negotiate cost reduction via vendor negotiations, alternative sourcing, and supply chain optimization. Responsible for purchasing commodity products, chemicals, equipment, and supplies, as well as assessing demand and ensuring inventories are replenished. Perform price verification as necessary. Maintain and grow supplier relations. Review and interpret contracts. Handle incoming inquiries and complaints in a prompt and professional manner. Work with appropriate parties to resolve nonconformance issues for raw materials, document complaints, supplier investigation, root cause analysis of non‑conformance, and corrective action reports (CAR). Provide excellent customer service using professional communication skills. Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork. Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct. Report quality problems or defects to manager or senior management to facilitate corrective action and prevent recurrence. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business. Qualifications Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary diploma/degree preferred. Prior buying experience desired; experience with electronic components is preferred. Ability to coordinate with different departments of the organization. Excellent attention to detail. Computer literate, intermediate level MS Excel skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience negotiating favorable pricing desired. Able to work with minimal supervision.
