Remote — Iran
VVISION is recruiting on behalf of Scalla Design for a fully remote Architectural Technologist / Drafter based in Iran.
We are looking for someone with strong technical drafting skills and a good understanding of architectural fabrication, especially involving wood, metal, and glass.
The main focus of this role will be preparing detailed architectural and fabrication drawings for stairs, railings, guards, and related architectural elements.

Architectural Technologist / Stair & Railing Drafter
Remote — Iran
VVISION is recruiting on behalf of Scalla Design for a fully remote Architectural Technologist / Drafter based in Iran.
We are looking for someone with strong technical drafting skills and a good understanding of architectural fabrication, especially involving wood, metal, and glass.
The main focus of this role will be preparing detailed architectural and fabrication drawings for stairs, railings, guards, and related architectural elements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and shop drawings
- Develop stair and railing plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Translate architectural concepts and site information into fabrication-ready drawings
- Understand connections between wood, steel, aluminum, and glass components
- Coordinate dimensions, materials, hardware, and construction details
- Revise drawings based on project and fabrication requirements
- Work remotely with our design and project team
- Assist with 3D modelling and presentation drawings when required
What We’re Looking For
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Architectural Technology, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related background
- Good understanding of stairs, railings, architectural details, and fabrication
- Knowledge of wood, metal, and glass fabrication
- Ability to read architectural and construction drawings
- Strong attention to dimensions and technical details
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Good communication and organization skills
Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhino, or rendering software is considered an asset.
Location
This is a fully remote position specifically for applicants currently based in Iran.
