General Position Summary Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance and feedback on strengths and opportunities. Adhere to visual guidelines, including merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy. Principle Duties And Responsibilities Control Expenses: Protect company assets within LIDS Retail policy guidelines. Assist in preparation of store schedules that provide proper coverage and adhere to wage control guidelines. Follow all policies to accurately manage store inventory, including receiving, transferring, completing price changes, and conducting product counts. Perform proper documentation and record keeping in accordance with LIDS Retail policies and state and federal laws. Open and close the store following procedures in the Operations P&P Manual. Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Supervise Associates Participate in LIDS Training Programs, adhere to set goals (for sales and tasks), and conduct regular follow‑ups. Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures. Encourage store associates to comply with established company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property. Perform work of subordinates as needed. Communicate with employees at all levels of the company. Other duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relative experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in operating a computer and related software programs. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb a ladder, working with hands overhead. Standing required for up to 100% of the work time. Ability to work unsupervised. Reports To Reports directly to LIDS management.
