Support electrical infrastructure and transportation projects remotely with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, utility coordination, and technical documentation at SYSTRA Canada.
As an Electrical Technologist, you will contribute to the design, production, coordination, and management of lighting and signal projects. Your responsibilities span wire sizing, voltage drop, conduit capacity, and photometric calculations. You will also support tendering, quantity review, completion work, meetings, and site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare wire sizing and voltage drop calculations
- Develop photometric layouts and grounding details
- Coordinate project drawings and stakeholder communications
- Prepare technical reports and tender items
- Perform contract administration through completion and assumption
Requirements:
- Three to five years focused on lighting design
- Three to five years focused on traffic signal design
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Proficiency in Civil 3D or AutoCAD
Use electrical calculations, utility coordination, and Civil 3D expertise to support SYSTRA Canada's remote infrastructure design work.
