We step in where you need us most, whether that’s navigating growth, improving profitability, scaling operations, or planning for what’s ahead.The Opportunity:As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Part-Time Consultant CFO to support a portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance leader who enjoys hands-on advisory work, collaborating with multiple organizations, and driving measurable business impact.You’ll act as a trusted strategic partner, guiding clients through financial planning, performance optimization, and growth initiatives. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel to client sites may be required.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Act as a strategic financial advisor, supporting clients with financial planning, forecasting, and business strategyLead financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and actionable insightsIdentify and manage financial risks, controls, and governance processesSupport capital structure planning, including debt and equity considerationsPartner with leadership teams on strategic planning, performance management, and growth initiativesLead efforts in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including financial due diligence.Oversee controllership, audit processes, and internal controlsContribute to internal reporting and operational improvements within The Finance GroupMentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance cultureRequired Qualifications:10+ years of experience as a CFO or Head of FinanceMinimum 10 years of experience providing leadership, strategic and operational adviceProven experience providing strategic and operational leadership, ideally in a consulting or multi-client environmentExperience working with non-profit organizations, the broader public sector, or mission-driven organizations is strongly preferredStrong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insightsDemonstrates strong interpersonal skills, sound professional judgment, and high ethical standards in all stakeholder interactions.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesAdvanced skills in Excel and financial reporting systemsWhy Work for Us:People-focused culture – we prioritize our employees, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and heard.Professional development – we invest in your growth by offering opportunities to advance in your career.Competitive Compensation – we offer a comprehensive benefits package, competitive paid time off and salary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
