Role Overview As an Onboarding Specialist, you will guide new partners and employers from successful sale through launch, managing all implementation steps from technical configuration to account readiness. You’ll collaborate closely with Partner Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Client Success to troubleshoot issues, ensure requirements are met, and deliver a seamless, timely onboarding experience. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end onboarding technical process for new partners and clients, ensuring a timely, accurate, and positive experience. Manage the onboarding schedule, maintain clear timelines, and communicate proactively with partners, clients, and internal teams. Facilitate live onboarding meetings, walking clients through Employer Connect, key workflows, and feature capabilities. Complete technical configuration for various payroll platforms, including data mapping, connection validation, and integration testing. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Partner Sales, Client Success, and Product to troubleshoot and resolve onboarding‑related issues. Provide clear guidance on employer resources, including payroll setup, reporting tools, and employee communications. Process any partner or client ZayZoon branded resource orders, coordinating delivery and ensuring timely receipt. Maintain documentation, status updates, and accurate records throughout the onboarding lifecycle. Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and enhance both partners’ and employers’ experiences. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in onboarding, client implementation, customer success, or a similar role within a SaaS or tech‑enabled environment. Familiarity with technical setups, integrations, and system configuration. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple onboarding projects concurrently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident leading client‑facing meetings. Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to diagnose issues, coordinate with teams, and drive resolution.
