This includes: health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; initiating and participating in community development initiatives and participating in evaluative projects. The Primary Health Care Nurse RN (NP) reports to a Manager of Primary Health Care. Incumbent is self-directed and requires minimal supervision. Qualifications Experience Three (3) full-time years of experience as a Registered Nurse Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN(NP)) Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS) Knowledge and Abilities Decision making through the application of knowledge and critical thinking Verbal and non-verbal communication techniques Ability to adapt to and implement change Demonstrated initiative, self-direction, organizational & leadership abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to provide holistic care to individuals, families & the community Demonstrates empathy, trust and respect For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website. #J-18808-Ljbffr
