Use 2D CAD skills at Fluor as a Junior Structural Designer, preparing technical drawings while supporting design leads under detailed review.
This junior position develops drawings with limited to moderate scope for Fluor projects. You will provide technical knowledge, coordinate with other disciplines, and follow industry codes, standards, and department procedures. The work requires practical field experience, software skills, and careful execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare intermediate complexity 2D Computer Aided Design drawings
- Interface closely with other discipline functions
- Follow industry codes, standards, and department procedures
- Plan and complete directed assignments
- Support the Design Area Lead or Lead
Requirements:
- Two years combining education and directly related experience
- Intermediate knowledge of 2D systems and procedures
- Basic knowledge of Hexagon Smart Review software
- Effective communication with varied project audiences
- Intermediate computer and software skills
Bring drawing accuracy, technical knowledge, and 2D CAD capability to Fluor’s structural design work and discipline coordination.
