If you want an exciting career as an Automotive Glass Technician in a state‑of‑the‑art environment where you get to work with sophisticated equipment every day alongside the finest experts in the field, we’d love to hear from you.We believe that genuine care can make a real difference in the customer experience, and it begins with making a difference in the careers of our team members.Your mandate will be to exceed our customers’ expectations by providing the highest quality of service and standards of workmanship when replacing, repairing or fitting vehicle glass and providing other company services and products.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?You will be trained on how to use industry‑leading tools while working alongside a supportive community that will help bring out the very best in you.Attractive hourly rate, weekly pay, annual review.Work‑Life balance free of unpredictable schedules and long hours: average of 37.5 hours per week (varying between 35 and 40 hours per week), no evenings or weekends (subject to change depending on business needs).Technical uniform and boots provided, plus prescription for safety glasses, employee discounts and rebates on tools, products and services.Our comprehensive benefits package starts on your first day of employment for permanent employees (e.g. group insurance plan) and after 3 months for the pension plan.Our organization keeps growing and expanding, constantly opening the way for opportunities for advancement, on‑the‑job training and skill upgrading.WHAT YOU’LL DO?You will play a key role in the customer experience by repairing or replacing their windshield with the utmost skill and care using our industry‑leading tools.Perform recalibrations of the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) front camera.Consistently meet or exceed Speedy Glass® technical standards in the installation of vehicle glass and other products, and ensure that the company’s quality and other procedures are complied with.Adhere to and enforce Belron® International technical standards and work procedures for door, window and windshield repair and replacement.Ensure proper tool maintenance.Consistently and strictly adhere to company Health and Safety procedures using the safety equipment provided.Ensure that you work within company productivity targets.Represent the interests of the customer in dealing with our internal procedures, including promptly providing customer feedback and keeping customers informed of the work process being carried out.Seek and identify all opportunities to increase sales (add on products) and further develop our business opportunities.Always display a high level of professionalism.Exercise strong attention to detail in order to add value wherever you can.Foster genuine relationships with your customers and fellow team members.What You’ll Need – Your ProfileBe eager and motivated to learn.Able to lift up to 50 lbs, if needed.Have a valid Class 5 or Class G license (Class 7 Novice, or G2 are not considered full driver’s license).Be able to drive company vehicle to complete the tasks independently at the client’s site, where required.High school diploma or the equivalent.Direct experience in the automotive glass repair and replacement industry is an asset.Exceptional attention to detail.Results oriented team player with ability to multi‑task.Good problem solving and communication skills.Be available to work a flexible schedule.Be willing to work at different Belron Canada locations near your home, when required.Position TypeFixed Term with possibility to transition to a permanent role.Vacancy StatusThis opportunity is for an existing role within our organization.CompensationRange of pay for this role is between $25.50 - $31.90 per hour.
