Site Reliability Engineer – KUMDC5681698 Long Term Contract The Application Infrastructure (AI) department is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to drive reliability engineering, operations, and customer support services for ServiceNow SaaS implementation. Reporting to the Site Reliability Engineering & Operations Lead, this role involves delivering SRE practices within a global team to ensure reliable, resilient systems with minimal operational overhead. The position focuses on ServiceNow IT service management capabilities integrated with various technologies, including chatbot systems, on‑call escalation, and on‑premises infrastructure. This is a production‑side operational role requiring occasional on‑call participation. Key Responsibilities Deliver improvements to maximize availability and performance of supported systems through optimized and automated operational tasks. Collaborate on development of operational tools, ongoing problem management, and architecture reviews. Troubleshoot ServiceNow issues and related on‑premises capabilities in a Linux environment. Implement observability solutions including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting to measure reliability targets. Participate in on‑call rotation with global team and respond appropriately during technical emergencies. Contribute to documentation of ServiceNow instances and related dependencies. Identify and prioritize technical debt impacting client satisfaction or operational efficiency. Provide feedback on policies and procedures to enhance safety and efficiency. Required Qualifications 7–15 years of experience in relevant roles. Advanced technical skills in one or more areas: software development (e.g., Python), ServiceNow administration or development. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish effective relationships and collaborate on successful delivery. Dependable team player with commitment to client service. Ability to respond appropriately during outages and technical emergencies. Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation. Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow administration or development experience (can be acquired on the job). Prior experience in financial services industry (not required).
