Accounting Manager

Responsibilities: Oversee accounting systems and controls for all associated companies. Advise the President on financial policies and company objectives. Coordinate with external accountants for annual financial reviews. Ensure timely federal and provincial tax filings. Manage cash flow forecasting and financial obligations. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (banks, shareholders, suppliers, etc.). Lead and manage the accounting team, including some AP/AR processing. Oversee the call centre and implement accounting policies and procedures. Hands-on accounting in a small business environment ($5M-$20M, 20-100 employees).
Requirements: CPA designation (completed or near completion). 2-5 years of experience as an accounting manager/team lead. Strong IT skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience with new system implementations. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Sage 300/Accpac and the service industry is a plus. Previous experience working for a smaller company
