As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that products sourced from overseas manufacturers meet the Company’s quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This role works closely with overseas suppliers, third-party inspection agencies, freight partners, and internal teams to prevent defects, reduce risk, and maintain consistent product quality.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate quality standards and specifications to overseas suppliersCoordinate and review pre-production and pre-shipment inspectionsApprove or reject shipments based on inspection resultsAddress quality issues and implement corrective actions with suppliersEnsure compliance with Canadian regulations and labeling requirementsWork with internal and external counterparts to arrange auditing, product testing, certifications, and customized customer requirementsAnalyze defects, returns, and quality trends to drive improvementsCollaborate with sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and product teamsQualifications10+ years of quality control or quality assurance experienceExperience working with overseas suppliersKnowledge of inspection processes and quality standardsExperience with Canadian regulatory requirementsStrong communication and organizational skillsKnowledge in food packaging and retail productFluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin #J-18808-Ljbffr
