Payroll CSR

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Reporting directly to the Manager, Provincial HR Shared Services Centre, the incumbent is responsible for working in a high-volume call centre and processing environment where the representatives answer over 8,000 calls monthly. Interacts with employees and other internal and external parties via email or telephone providing information and resolving issues related to benefits, payroll and recruitment. Works to resolve complaints while achieving set productivity targets. Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures as provided for under applicable legislation, union and non-union guidelines including the varied processes in multiple collective agreements across multiple sites and differing legal entities. Provides support for over 36,000 staff working across Manitoba with the anticipation of expected growth within our client base in the future. Experience Minimum three (3) years of experience working with a computerized Payroll/HRIS system required. Experience working in SAP, SuccessFactors and Ivanti (or another intake ticketing system) preferred. Previous call centre experience is preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required. Successful completion of the Canadian Payroll Association, Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or equivalent education from a recognized business certificate program required. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Qualifications And Skills Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications required. Knowledge of ERP and other financial planning systems is preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills including active listening to assist customers. Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written required. Must be able to prioritize work flow, complete multiple tasks, manage time and work independently. Solid track record of exceeding productivity and quality goals. Physical Requirements May be required to work remotely. This term position may end earlier as outlined in your employee handbook.
