We design and manufacture solutions used by the largest tech companies globally.Team Lead – PCL/Mechanical We are seeking a talented Test Team Lead - PCL to join our Test and Qualification team. This role reports to the Test and Qualification Manager and will be integral to driving the technical revolution of liquid cooling at CoolIT Systems, Inc.RoleWHAT YOU’LL DO: We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality and excellence.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of test engineers and techniciansDevelop and execute test plans that will ensure compliance to internal and external customer defined standardsDevelop and execute HALT testing, temperature stress testing, thermal cycling, mechanical stress testing, etc.Detect design defects through analysis and testing, and perform root cause analysis when needed.Design of automated test equipment.Prepare technical reports and documentation.Present technical reports to internal and external customersAttend internal and external meetings.Who You AreBasic QualificationsBS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical or relevant fieldMinimum of 5 years of total related work experience with at least 1 year experience as a team leadWorking knowledge of CAD packages such as SolidWorksStrong knowledge of thermal heat transfer, fluid dynamics and material analysisStrong understanding of ASTM, IEC and ISO test standards (e.g: ASTM E1252, IEC 62631, ASTM D2122, ASTM D638, ISO 10619-1)Working knowledge of instrumentation including pressure transducers, temperature sensors, flow sensors, etc.Demonstrated experience in testing and qualifying electro-mechanical parts and systemsPrevious experience in developing test procedures, test development and best practices for product developmentPreferred QualificationsFamiliarization of passive coldplate loopsKnowledge of programming tools such as Python, C/C++, etc.SkillsAbility to lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians effectively.WHY COOLIT?We strive to be an employer of choice and reward employees with career and development opportunities.
