You are invited to apply for the Returning Paid Camp Staff role at YMCA of Three Rivers. Employment Type: Full Time, Contract. Monday to Friday (40 hours): $17.60-$21.50/hour. Varies by Position. Role Description As an Assistant Director you will work alongside the Day Camp Director to oversee 9 camp locations. Your responsibilities include staff development, administration support, parent relations, and facility management. You must have access to a reliable vehicle and be able to travel to camps in Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford, Kitchener, and Waterloo. Minimum age: 18+. As a Day Camp Administrator you will work alongside the Assistant Director to oversee communication and administration for all 9 camp locations. Responsibilities include registration and payment, weekly camp communication, overseeing camp attendance, and assisting with office management as needed. As a Site Supervisor you will oversee staff and campers at one of the 9 camp locations. Responsibilities include camp programming, staff development and evaluation, parent communication, managing site inclusion support, and fostering young leaders. As a Site Assistant you will work alongside the Site Supervisor to oversee campers and camp programs. Responsibilities include camp programming, camper management, program development, and parent communication. As a Leader in Training (LIT) Coordinator you will implement and guide the Leader in Training Program, mentor LITs, and evaluate their performance based on a prepared curriculum. As a Counsellor you will lead camp activities such as games, water activities, creative and science projects, and engage campers in memorable experiences. As a Lifeguard you will ensure all lifeguarding procedures are adhered to, oversee camp swims and boating needs, and enforce safety and accident prevention protocols. As an On‑Call Counsellor you will join staff teams to cover counsellor absences or sickness on an as‑needed basis, attending all mandatory training sessions. As an Inclusion Support Counsellor you will support campers with disabilities or behavioral challenges, coach counsellors on challenging situations, and communicate with parents to ensure inclusive experiences.
