Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:The Catering Services Manager is a position that oversees aspects of catering solutions and special events our Business Dining location in Waterloo. This position will oversee the catering team to complete events or catering delivery requests in line with customer expectations and service standards.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and complete catering solutions to meet customers’ needsDevelop and maintain effective client and customer rapportDeliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out eventsFacilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event ordersAssist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients’ needsTrain and lead catering employees to ensure event standards quality in final presentationProvide Banquet Event Orders to team and quality assurance all requests are met prior to eventResponsible for delivering food and labor targetsExecute catered events of various size and scope including staffing and managementEnsure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivablesRecruit, train, schedule and develop team membersEnsure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policiesAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.QualificationsRequires at least 2 years of experiencePrior experience in a management or supervisory role preferredPrevious experience in events, hospitality and catering is requiredPost-secondary education is an assetAvailable to work event-based hours that may extend into the early evening – no weekendsMust have excellent communications skillsFood Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications can be acquired post hireRequires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.Ability to stand for extended periods of timeEducationAbout AramarkAt Aramark, we empower our people to create moments that matter through exceptional hospitality experiences.
