OverviewWe have an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our LOWER MAINLAND group in either a full-time or part-time contractor capacity.What You'll Be DoingConduct physical functional capacity evaluations.Conduct cognitive functional capacity evaluations.Perform physical and cognitive job demands analyses.Collaborate with key stakeholders.Provide timely written and/or verbal communication of assessment findings.What You Need To Be SuccessfulFor the current employment opportunity, we request candidates to have 12 months of experience as an Occupational Therapist with 6 months of experience with return-to-work rehabilitation services, functional assessments, or other job site experiences (job demands analyses, ergonomic analyses, return-to-work organization with employers at the job site). Training and mentorship are available for candidates who do not quite meet the requirements.A Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Occupational Therapy.Current registration and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC. (COTBC)Possess malpractice insurance of at least $5 million per occurrence.Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, as well as independently.Have excellent clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to travel to various job sites around the Lower Mainland region.FCE methodology training through Matheson.CWCE designation through Matheson.Cognitive FCE training through Matheson.Who We AreRe: Function Health Group is an established firm with 5 clinics in the Lower Mainland, 2 clinics on Vancouver Island, and 1 clinic in the Okanagan.
