Job Title Occupational Therapist Company Bayshore HealthCare Location Ottawa - Gatineau, ON Employment Type Permanent Full Time Work Environment Hybrid / Community Based (flexible schedule) Benefits Fast track to leadership (estimated 6-12 months) Client Bonuses Compensated travel time and mileage for work in the community Compensated admin time for remote work Continued Education Yearly Allowance Reimbursement for COTO and/or OEQ registrations Responsibilities Assess patients with physical, cognitive or emotional challenges to determine their ability to perform daily activities. Design and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence in self-care, work, and leisure activities. Teach patients new techniques or recommend assistive devices to make everyday tasks easier. Suggest changes to home or workplace environments to improve safety and accessibility. Train patients and families on exercises, equipment, and coping strategies. Qualifications University degree in Occupational Therapy Member of the Quebec Order of Occupational Therapists (OEQ) and Ontario College of Occupational Therapists (COTO), or eligible to register 1-2 years experience as an Occupational Therapist; preference for pediatric client experience Proficiency in English and French (strongly preferred) Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills Driver’s license and access to a vehicle Application Process Only candidates selected to proceed will be contacted by Bayshore’s Recruitment Team to schedule a conversation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
