Find out how far your passion can take you.About the JobThe Financial Analyst role within Brightly Software, a Siemens company, is a key contributor to the global Performance Controlling Team for the SI BSW Business Unit. In this position, you will play a central role in driving financial clarity and operational excellence by leading forecast consolidation, supporting global reporting processes, and delivering insightful performance analyses. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners across multiple countries, support strategic business reviews, and help advance digital initiatives aimed at improving automation and efficiency. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact on global financial operations.What you will doCoordinate monthly forecast consolidation processes for SI BSW Business Unit at Global level, engaging with financial partners across multiple countriesLead SG&A cost center bottoms up forecastSupport the forecast submission process to local company and Division global headquartersDrive complex analysis on business performance, providing reports of comparing actuals with forecast, budget and previous yearsPrepare documentation for business reviews and budget presentationsIdentify opportunities for process improvements, engaging in digital initiatives with focus on process automationWork actively on ad hoc reporting and customized analysis, supporting senior managementPrepare monthly journal entries for key accounting adjustments in the P&L and Balance SheetSupport Planful administration (planning and reporting platform), including template design and maintenanceEngage in specific initiatives related to business operations and finance excellenceReporting directly to: Head of Performance Controlling, SI BSW Business Unit.What you needBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, BA or related field.Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience with finance and performance controlling activitiesHigh proficiency with MS Office applications, with strengths in Excel and Power PointExperience in data automation and digitalization tools, such as Power BI, Knime, Power query, etc.Proficiency with ERPs (e.g.: SAP, Intacct) and Planning Tools (e.g.: Hyperion, SAC, Planful)Effective Team Communication: actively engaging with all team members and fostering an environment of trust and collaborationAnalytical Thinking: Ability to think critically and solve problemsTime Management: Handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlinesProcess Orientation and Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial reports and modelsResilience and Adaptability: ability to stay focused and composed in challenging situationsWhat makes you a StandoutProficiency with Intacct (ERP) and Planful planning and reporting toolsThe Brightly cultureWe’re guided by a vision of community that serves the ambitions and wellbeing of all people, and our professional communities are no exception.
