Join the team that is redefining healthcare As a Senior BI developer, you will step into a pivotal role within our organization, leveraging your extensive experience and expertise to lead the development of advanced Power BI solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will collaborate closely with data analysts, stakeholders, and other Tech professionals to ensure data accuracy, optimize performance, and deliver insightful dashboards and reports that support decision-making processes. Please note: a portfolio with embedded content/examples of dashboards that demonstrate your skills and experience are required. Responsibilities Develop interactive and visually compelling Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business requirements. Create and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and queries to ensure efficient and reliable reporting. Optimize report performance through proper data model design, query optimization, and report configuration. Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iteratively enhance reports and dashboards. Ensuring data security and compliance. Partner with other Data Team members preparing scalable data sets for visualization ensuring data quality at each phase. Create documentation for data models, processes, and reports. Conduct training sessions to empower users to leverage Power BI effectively. Address any issues related to data accuracy, visualizations, and report performance. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a BI developer with excellent track record. Extensive experience in developing and optimizing complex Power BI solutions. Proven ability to design and implement scalable data models. In-depth knowledge of data integration techniques and tools. Experience with data pipeline orchestration and automation. Advanced knowledge of DAX calculations, Power Query, and data modeling in Power BI. Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse concepts. Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and SQL queries. Expertise in implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) for both internal and external users, ensuring data access control and compliance. Ability to architect end-to-end BI solutions, including data ingestion, storage, and presentation layers. Ability to transform business requirements into technical specifications and intuitive visualizations. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results. Having a strong sense of UI/UX best practices with a keen eye for visual design and attention to detail. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Having Experience with Microsoft Fabric. Experienced in Power BI Embedding. Certifications in Power BI are highly desirable. Additional Skills Having experience of working with Microsoft Suite. Familiarity with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and SharePoint. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. Familiarity with ETL Processes. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a relevant field would be an asset.
