Primary Job Posting Location: 1221 32nd Avenue, Lachine, Québec, Canada Position Summary The Auto Technician is responsible for the inspection, repair and maintenance, and diagnostic tests of the UPS vehicle fleet. Job Type: Full‑Time – Permanent Workdays: Monday to Friday Shift duration: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM Responsibilities and Duties Repair, inspect, and maintain UPS diesel, propane, CNG and gasoline vehicles in a regular and timely manner. Operate and test company vehicles within the UPS facilities and on public roads. Qualifications Able to lift up to 70 lbs. Able and willing to work evening and/or night shifts. Able to work in a fast‑paced work environment. Valid PEP card heavy duty or light duty mechanic license. Essential trade tools and equipment. Clean driver’s abstract/record with no violations for the current year, no more than 2 violations in the last 3 years, and no accidents. Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills. Pass a pre‑employment road test. Compensation And Benefits $36.00 per hour, with potential increase to $42.29 after 12 months of service. Weekly pay every Friday. Automatic pay progression per union Collective Agreement. Paid vacation: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, 6 weeks after 25 years of service. Group benefits: Dental and Extended Medical.
