Our emergency department sees upwards of 40k visits, and we have 172 acute beds and 102 extended care beds and offer a full range of health services to the community. Medical Laboratory Assistants perform a variety of duties such as taking blood and receiving samples from patients, preparing blood and other specimens for analysis, distributing specimens to departments and referral Labs, entering data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and performing related clerical duties and ECG testing as required. This is a Relief Full Time (1.00) opportunity until May 4, 2026, or the return of the incumbent.
