This entry-level Business Data Analyst role is based in Toronto, Ontario, with full-time remote work. You will collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams to collect, interpret, and present data. The position supports practical analytics through reports, dashboards, data quality checks, and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from business sources
- Analyze trends, patterns, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations communicating business insights
- Use Excel and SQL to analyze business data
- Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, business, statistics, economics, or related field
- Zero to two years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of Excel formulas and pivot tables
- Basic SQL knowledge for relational database analysis
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Develop business analytics expertise through remote reporting, SQL analysis, dashboard work, and clear stakeholder communication.
