We strive to inspire and grow our company, our partnerships, our science, and our people, because when we do, we deliver more for patients.Reporting to the Senior Director, Market Access, Government Affairs and Policy, the Associate Director, Market Access and Stakeholder Relations, Ontario and Atlantic Canada will lead the development and execution of the argenx stakeholder engagement plan in Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador and be the central contact with drug plans in those provinces. The role will encompass a broad range of market access, policy and communications responsibilities and will be responsible for providing strategic advice to support the overall business in existing and future therapeutic areas. We don’t have all the answers – we work together to find them in support of patients and caregivers.Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of provincial market access and stakeholder engagement plans in Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and LabradorCollaborate and co-create with cross-functional teams (Medical, Patient Advocacy, Communications, Sales and Marketing, Regulatory) to integrate provincial needs and opportunities into the planning process and leverage the broader team to support initiatives in the Atlantic provincesRepresent argenx as the key point of contact with provincial policy makers, drug plans and industry associationsIdentify and support sponsorship opportunitiesProvide real-time, ongoing support for reimbursement initiativesCollaborate and co-create with the access and government affairs team to ensure best practices and opportunities are sharedSkills and CompetenciesProven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentExperience implementing stakeholder work with measurable impactDeep understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape, including rare disease policy, HTA processes, and patient access pathwaysStrong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex ideas clearlyAbility to influence without authority and build trust across disciplinesExcellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiencesAgile, resilient, and collaborative team playerPassionate about co-creation, innovation, empowerment, excellence, and humilityEducation, Experience and Qualifications10-12 years experience in market access, public policy, patient advocacy and/or external affairs within biotech/pharmaBachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant fieldExperience working with Canadian governments and government agenciesPrior involvement in brand teams or cross-functional strategic planningExperience managing external agencies and budgetsBilingual (English/French) preferredOther QualificationsTravel required: ~30% across Atlantic provinces and to head office, as requiredLanguage: English required; French appreciated#LI-RemoteAt argenx, all applicants are welcomed in an inclusive environment.
