The ASD consultant provides coaching, mentoring and guidance to staff, ASD Support Workers, Educational Staff and Community Partners. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Two years experience with children with abnormal/normal childhood development Two years experience working with children with ASD Education Masters degree in a Health Sciences Field Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training First Aid Certificate Training in Applied Behavioral Analysis Training in Autism Spectrum Disorder and treatment Training in normal and abnormal child development Current CPR certification Supervisory skills Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities Creative problem solving in an open and resourceful manner Commitment to continued learning and professional development. Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately Knowledge in design and implementation methods of individual behaviour plans Ability to meet treatment needs with a client/family centered approach to care Knowledge in Continuous Quality Improvement program development and delivery Demonstrate competence in both clinical and administrative supervision Ability to plan/organize/coordinate with other multidisciplinary team members Ability to formulate evidence-based intervention based on clinical presentation A team leader with outstanding interpersonal skills Knowledge in various treatments and strategies for Autism Spectrum Disorder Accountable for quality and timely management of assigned caseload.
