Dans ce rôle, vous serez au cœur de la réparation, de l'entretien et de l'installation d'équipements essentiels pour les processus miniers. Vous travaillerez sous la direction de notre Responsable du Service sur le Terrain pour la Comminution, et apprécierez la variété des missions sur différents sites. Ce poste est basé à Montréal, Québec ou Sudbury, Ontario, et nécessitera jusqu’à 70 % de déplacements vers divers sites de travail, y compris des périodes prolongées, vous offrant ainsi des environnements de travail dynamiques et diversifiés. Ce que vous ferez Préparer et Planifier : Avant de vous rendre sur un site, vous étudierez et planifierez le périmètre de travail, examinerez les plans et rassemblerez les ressources nécessaires pour assurer un déroulement sans accroc. Exécuter avec Précision : Sous la direction d'un représentant ou superviseur du service Metso, vous effectuerez des tâches de maintenance mécanique, des remplacements de composants d’usure et d’autres tâches critiques. Diagnostiquer et Réparer : Diagnostiquer les problèmes mécaniques, mettre en œuvre des actions correctives et assister aux réparations pour maintenir les équipements en fonctionnement efficace. S’adapter et Innover : Accomplir des tâches diverses et des projets spéciaux selon les besoins, démontrant votre capacité d’adaptation et vos compétences en résolution de problèmes. Qui vous êtes Expérience : Expérience en tant que Millwright/Technicien, idéalement avec une expérience pratique des broyeurs, des concasseurs et d'autres équipements de processus. Certification : Certification de Millwright ou expérience équivalente. Compétences en Communication : Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite en anglais ; la maîtrise du français est un atout. Compétences Techniques : Compétences en lecture et compréhension de plans mécaniques en systèmes anglais et métrique. Compétences Informatiques : Connaissances de base en informatique (Outlook, Word, Excel). Introduction We’re looking for a dedicated Millwright to join our Field Service team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of repairing, maintaining, and installing critical mining process equipment. You'll work under the guidance of our Field Service Manager for Comminution, and enjoy the variety of working at different job sites. This position is based in Montreal, Quebec or Sudbury, Ontario. And will require up to 70% travel to various job sites, including extended periods, providing you with dynamic and diverse work environments. The team you will join You’ll be part of a team of field service experts who are passionate about solving problems and getting things done. Our team is spread across various locations and works closely with Operations, Administration, Accounting, and Field Service Support teams to ensure seamless service delivery. What you’ll do Prepare and Plan: Before heading to a field assignment, you’ll study and plan the scope of work, review drawings, and gather necessary resources to ensure a smooth operation. Execute with Precision: Under the guidance of a Metso service representative or supervisor, you'll perform mechanical maintenance, wear component replacements, and other critical tasks. Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose mechanical issues, implement corrective actions, and assist with repairs to keep equipment running efficiently. Adapt and Innovate: Tackle miscellaneous duties and special projects as needed, showcasing your adaptability and problem-solving skills. Who you are Experience as a Millwright/Mechanic, ideally with hands‑on experience with grinding mills, crushers, and other process machinery. Hold a Millwright certification or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a bonus. Skilled in reading and understanding mechanical drawings in both English and Metric Systems.
